<Update label="v26.3.1" description="September 6, 2026">
  ### Plans, limits and guides in the documentation

The [Plans and limits](/plans-and-limits) page gathers pricing, features and platform limits, along with available versions and managed databases. Values now have a centralized public reference.

  * **The Free plan is described as a trial option**, for testing the platform before using it in production, with the applicable limits alongside it.
  * **The published SLA was standardized** across all pages.
  * **New "Guides" section**, with step-by-step content on hosting Discord bots and deploying Node.js apps.
  * **Recent changelog entries were added to navigation**, so they have a published URL.
  * Page titles and descriptions were updated to explain what each page answers.

  ### New email design

Access, plan and alert emails got a flat layout, with the Vertra logo, social links, soft corners, subtle dividers and better-organized information. Buttons now use a light background with an outline, including the Outlook version. The layout offers light and dark versions; final colors also depend on the email client used.

  ### Getting started tutorial in the dashboard

In the dashboard sidebar, **Getting Started** walks through five steps with a GIF and instructions on what to click. The app only goes live after **New Project**. Progress is saved in that browser; once all steps are done, a confirmation appears and the guide disappears. The **upgrade to the next plan** button appears in the same place; it doesn't show on the last step.

  ### Terms, privacy and acceptable use rewritten

The three documents governing use of Vertra Cloud were rewritten and now exist in Portuguese,
English and Spanish: [Terms of Use](https://vertracloud.app/terms),
  [Privacy Policy](https://vertracloud.app/privacy) and the new
[Acceptable Use Policy](https://vertracloud.app/acceptable-use). All three link to each other and
identify who provides the service and who is responsible for data protection.

  * **You can withdraw within 7 days of your first paid plan purchase**, with a full refund via the
same payment method, as guaranteed by Brazil's Consumer Protection Code. The old terms said "no
refunds" — a clause that wasn't valid. Renewals and upgrades remain without a right of withdrawal.
  * **Plan expiration is described as it actually works:** projects are shut down, the platform
keeps a snapshot of each application and database for 30 days, and renewing within that window
restores everything. The old terms mentioned suspension after 1 day and deletion after 7, and
said payment was Pix-only and that no plan had backups — none of that was true.
  * **The Privacy Policy now states who processes your data and why.** When Vertra is the
controller and when it's only a processor of your projects' content; the legal basis for each
    purpose; where data is stored and international transfers; how long each type of data is kept;
how to exercise each right under Brazil's LGPD, with a 15-day response window; and the
commitment to report security incidents. The data protection officer (DPO) is named and the
    contact channel is [support@vertracloud.app](mailto:support@vertracloud.app).
  * **The Acceptable Use Policy is now its own document.** What can and can't run on the platform,
what counts as resource abuse, how to report it and what the penalties are — with the rule that
only a severe violation triggers action without notice; in other cases you're notified and given
    time to respond.
  * The Terms and the Acceptable Use Policy now require 30 days' notice for any material change
(previously 7), define the applicable law and jurisdiction, and make clear that consumers can
    file in their home jurisdiction.
  * **The 30-day snapshot window now appears where it matters, not just in the Terms.** The
plan-expired email shows the deadline and the recovery path (renew, recreate the project,
restore from the Snapshots page or download the .zip); expiration reminders and the plan card in
Billing warn that, without renewal, projects remain as a snapshot only for 30 days.
  * `/lgpd` leads to the Privacy Policy, and the footer now calls it "Privacy and LGPD".
  * The cookie banner now says what actually happens: analytics and session recording on public
pages only, with consent, never in the dashboard.

  ### New project from a snapshot

In **New Project**, **Restore from a snapshot** opens a dialog to find the application or database and pick the backup. The rest of the flow is the same as creating the resource. Going back to the type picker, or the trash icon on the zip, **clears the file** and removes its name and description until a new source is provided. In **Projects**, the **More options** menu leads directly to creating an application, creating a database, restoring a snapshot or redeeming a code.

  ### Project list in cards or list view

In the Projects list, next to search, a toggle switches between **list** (the default) and
**cards**, up to three per row. The choice persists for that browser tab: if the list reloads, the
loading skeleton already matches the same layout, without flashing the other one.

A project's `…` menu now fits on screen. When the window is too short to show every action, the
menu scrolls down to **Delete project** instead of cutting off the bottom.
