Account menu

The account menu now opens a grouped panel: profile, appearance, language, settings, billing, CLI, VS Code, MCP, changelog, docs, support, workspace switching and sign out.

Pay by card, with automatic renewal

You can now pay for a plan with a Visa or Mastercard credit card, in addition to PIX, without leaving the Vertra checkout.
  • A card is saved to your account and your plan renews automatically on your default card. The card is charged 3 days before the plan expires, and you get an email the same day. If the charge fails, it is retried on each of the next 2 days and on the expiration day; if every attempt fails, the plan expires normally. If your bank asks for confirmation, you receive an email to confirm it.
  • There is no loyalty period. To stop automatic renewal, use Cancel renewal on the Plan card under Billing: your plan stays active until its expiry date, your card stays saved, and you can turn renewal back on at any time.
  • PIX payments don’t renew by themselves; you keep getting the usual expiration notice.
  • The Economy plan is paid with PIX only, so it never renews automatically.
  • Vertra never sees or stores your card number: the card and your billing details are stored by Stripe, and Vertra keeps only the brand, last 4 digits and expiry.

Billing details

Buying a plan now requires billing details, because they are needed to issue the service invoice (NFS-e). In Brazil: name, CPF or CNPJ and the full address (CEP, street, number and neighborhood; city and state are filled from the CEP). Outside Brazil: name, street, city, country and postal code. The phone is optional. Set them under Billing; if they are missing, the checkout asks for them before payment. Saving a new card doesn’t change them.

Billing periods: 1, 3 or 12 months

Plans can be bought for 1, 3 or 12 months. A 3-month purchase gets 5% off and a 12-month purchase gets 15% off the monthly price. The 6-month option was removed. Prices stay in R$, and the website now shows an approximate US dollar amount next to them for reference.

Automatic service invoices (NFS-e)

The Brazilian service invoice (NFS-e) is issued automatically for every paid order and delivered by email, issued in the name and CPF or CNPJ of your billing details. Issuance can take a few minutes, and a full refund cancels the invoice. Free orders and redeem codes don’t generate one.

API changes

  • POST /v1/orders only accepts months of 1, 3 or 12; any other value returns 400 INVALID_MONTHS. The Economy plan only accepts 1.
  • Creating an order and checking its status now return allowed_payment_methods. For the Economy plan it is ["pix"].
  • POST /v1/orders/{orderId}/initiate/pix returns the same QR code while it is still valid, and the QR code expires with the order. It returns 409 ORDER_NOT_PAYABLE while a card payment of the same order is being confirmed.

SDKs (JavaScript, Python and Go)

  • New billing.details() and billing.updateDetails() (update_details() in Python, Details / UpdateDetails in Go) read and update your billing details through /v1/users/me/billing, with the structured address, CPF or CNPJ and optional phone. orders.create fails with BILLING_DETAILS_INCOMPLETE until they are complete.
  • Order responses include allowed_payment_methods, and each order in the list includes has_receipt.
  • The order list filter accepts card as a provider, besides pix and redeem_code.
  • JavaScript: billing, runtime and restart types now come straight from @vertracloud/api-types 0.3.2. apps.runtimes() returns APIApplicationRuntimes, and apps.restart() takes RESTPostAPIApplicationRestartBody. If you imported the old local type names, switch to these.
  • The READMEs list card payments, saved cards, automatic renewal, coupon preview and receipts as dashboard-only, and no longer mention workspace ownership transfer, which was removed.

MCP server

  • New tools to read and update your billing details.
  • create_app and update_app_config accept the build command (build).
  • create_app, create_database and create_order explain the FREE_PLAN_SUSPENDED error.

VS Code extension

  • Creating an app or database on the suspended Free plan shows a clear message with a View plans button.
  • Opening a file path as a folder in the remote file explorer now shows the right error instead of a generic failure.

CLI

  • No changes needed. The CLI picks up the Go SDK updates in its next release.
